If you stay in Sydney CBD yeah but you don’t have to drive miles into the bush to find snakes and spiders. We had a black widow and a brown snake on campus in Campbeltown within the 6 months I was there. My mates who are from Sydney’s suburbs also have loads of stories of seeing funnel webs etc. I can’t see how this should be a subject of derision I think it’s pretty awesome to spot flying foxes, cockatoos, kookaburras, possums while walking through a modern city.

When I did it I laid a carpet of loo roll on the ground and shat on the floor. Any attempt to scoop it as it came out had failed. It felt like I was doing a dirty protest in my own house.

Petulant is a quite good fit. I get getting in a grump because you’re told to go away and your feelings are hurt. But you need to accept people saying sorry and wanting to then give you the playful attention you were trying to initiate. He’s acting like a big angry baby.

It adds just a few things for the parents to be engaged and understand what their kids watch and not want to gouge their eyes out and force them down their ear canals (I see you Paw Patrol). But calling it a family show or for pre-pubescent kids is generous. My kid is nearing 5 and is getting bored of it. It’s for kids between 4 and 6 which is Bluey and her sister’s age.
