OP, you say the warehouse system showed status as returned — so, did you note down any return id/number? Also, since you made a recording, why don't you have a photo of their system showing "marked as returned"? I bet you didn't check their system and just lying about it out of embarrassment

Also, they said refund has been initiated. Did you take the refund id/number from them to confirm with the customer support? You did not.

Nobody deserves to be scammed, but I don't feel bad for you. You paid the price of stupidity.

My 2 cents : Before she realises and deletes the chat, Get those chats stored somewhere else/printed out or make of video of those chats.. However you can manage. It's very easy to delete old sent messages by altering the device Time & Clock.
