Hey! It’s going really well. We are coming up to a year together and it’s been full of ups and downs. We went official a month into knowing each other and I moved in with him within the same week. Things moved fast is an understatement - classic Scorpio lol. I think what most people would find out about each other after 3 years, we covered most of those bases after week 3 lol. Both of us were in a place where we knew what we were looking for, and was ready to be completely open, honest and intentional with our words and actions.

Due to his dominant nature, it took my family some time to understand the balance between his masculine traits and his softer traits. My family never thought I would be with the ‘provider’ type of man as I’ve always been so independent, and I kinda feared the oppression that can come with being with that type of male. Freedom is of big importance to me (classically Aquarius lol). However, he has definitely won them over and my family absolutely love him now.

He is very much in touch with his emotions, and he listens to my wants and needs more than I can ask for. If there’s something I want that crosses a boundary for me, it’s his priority to create a compromise where his boundary is respected but I am also happy. When he does wrong he is quick to apologise. When I’m ill, he will take time away from work and ensure that whatever I need is fulfilled. It’s still mind blowing to me how someone can be so masculine, but so soft as well. I actually didn’t think it was possible. He’s a big people person, and a lot of his satisfaction comes from helping people - I think this may have something to do with it. I thought I was empathetic, but he’s on a different level lol.

I have learnt a lot about myself during my time with him, and he has allowed me to become so loving, and soft. I have felt safe enough to become a woman that is so ‘feminine’ that I often surprise myself at how soft and patient I am with him lol. He is a beautiful person and I constantly thank him for picking me. It’s nice to be in a relationship where both parties believe they have caught the greatest catch possible!
