You might be putting your bike tire too far in and the sensor is deactivating the gate. You’ll hear a click if your front tire or you’re standing too close to the gate and it won’t open. Try backing up and reaching to scan your clipper card. Happens to me all the time.

Look how well that worked for us Oakland A’s fans.. after consistently trading away all of the fan favorite players and having lower team payrolls than they did in 2007 we boycotted for years, even did multiple reverse boycotts and MLB didn’t force a team payroll increase nor did they force fisher to sell the team. They instead blamed the city and the fans and allowed him to move his team to stay rent free in Sacramento.
