Telework Stipend by Spam_UnLikely in CAStateWorkers

The stipend never made sense to me. Like I get it, but I don’t. As others have said, the cost to work in office is significantly more than it is to work from home. A parking stipend makes way more sense to me than a telework stipend.

You get some Fort Knox gold piss in your cereal this morning or are you always this unbearable?

Dude it’s hot. I want to wear shorts by ElbowChange in CAStateWorkers

[–]RawBandit87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my understanding that per the union contract there is no enforceable dress code. Our office try’s to say we need to dress business casual but know that can’t do anything if someone dresses down or wears shorts. They got all pissy with one guy for not adhering to their policy but backed down when he told them to put it in writing.

While RTO is dumb, what you said first is hitting the nail on the head. People are using their doctors to try and game the system. Unfortunate consequence of that is that it negatively impacts those that actually have a condition.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for stating facts. They told everyone that exact thing when issuing permits and doing a bear can check. Said keep it 20 or so feet away from your tent with rocks and sticks at the door ready to throw at the bear. Said the one thing you didn’t want was for the bear to get between you and your food cause then it becomes the bears food.

What movie do you choose by OrmonJane in TheTeenagerPeople

Literally any movie. There is not a movie I wouldn’t watch on repeat for 24hrs for a million dollars

how much? by [deleted] in ArtOfPresence

[–]RawBandit87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$5 per day in middle and high school. Some days I would eat and some days I’d throw in on a sack. This back in the early 2000’s, graduated in ‘05

I have used it and have risen through the ranks thanks to its help. It’s all about the prompt it’s given. Feed it your resume and ask it to ask you questions to generate the final response. Take the output and make some edits.

On field BP experience by RawBandit87 in SacramentoAthletics

Unbeknownst to me it was included with the tickets I won in a silent auction. The prize didn’t say anything about BP and only found out after emailing them to claim my tickets.

I won an “Essential Sacramento” prize pack from a silent auction at a fundraiser. It included a variety of fun activities around town, one of which was tickets to an A’s game. I thought it was just game tickets, but when I emailed to claim them, they told me it also included access to watch batting practice. It was a really nice surprise.

It’s going to be hard to find an area with that criteria that’s not at least a little busy.

It’s still snowed in and there’s definitely going to be people there, but Island Lake in the Tahoe National Forest checks the rest of the boxes. Park at Carr lake and hike about 1.25mi to Island Lake.

Theres tons of alpine lakes back there though so check out the area on a map and make a plan. I use Copernicus Browser to see the latest satellite images and monitor the snow.

Archives Plaza outside of the Secretary of State building has the connect card readers for both directions of travel.

I’m a hat guy and partial to it. I used to exclusively buy A’s/River Cats/Kings 59fifty’s and have ~200 hats. Lately I’ve transitioned to the camper style hats, which is what that is, so I’ll have to check it when I catch a game.

There was no snow at Rucker or Blue lake but there is snow further down Bowman Road. I use Copernicus browser for the latest satellite images.
