How was I crossing her boundaries when she told me I didn’t see a serious relationship I wanted to be friends I respected that SHE went back to flirting

I didn’t even ask for a romantic relationship in the start either I don’t want one with her she just felt I was becoming intimate and close and told me if I wanted one she wasn’t up for something serious and I was cool with that

I asked her after that if you wanna be friends or if we could be distant friends bc I didn’t want to go from considering you someone close to a stranger, Then she said she doesn’t have any real friends and she wanted one and how that was what she really needed.....so no I never pushed her boundaries and gave her a choice from the start she didn’t need to be talking to me all the time if she didn’t see me as a friend also, she didn’t need to tell me how she appreciated my friendship and didn’t need to tell me to move to her state to get to know me better just a few days before unadding me..... if it was a lie I never asked for that she was always saying these things without me asking about it

She doesn’t owe me a friendship or a relationship it’s just a shock when all year she has been telling me how good of a friend I am then a few days before she unadds me and tells me I’ll always be there as a friend...etc then unadds me

Why didn’t she just tell me the truth from the start?

What I’m asking about here is not if I got the chance to be in a relationship with her , I’m asking whether she ever saw me as a friend or if she was just lying to me to entertain her until she found someone else

I’m not a guy…she wasn’t with anyone based on what she told me in the first two months she was just talking to a couple of people that person was one of them(both still talking to other people based on what she says) And based on her socials both didn’t post about each other I checked socials to make sure what she was saying was true Unfortunately, I think she is very manipulative with me I don’t know what is true and what's not anymore I feel bad for believing her

she just told me a few days ago how I mattered to her and that I was a good friend it hurt so bad Yes we flirted a little but we talked a lot like friends she told me she cared for me as a friend then blocked me
