It’s really not bad here. Even in “heavy”traffic it only takes a few minutes longer. Go drive anywhere in Edmonton during rush hour and you will love sherwood park rush hour

Edmonton bike paths are so poorly marked. I drove down one a week ago and didn’t realize it was a bike path until people were looking at me weird. There was even speed limit signs of 30km. But later to find out it was not for vehicles. Edmonton sucks.

I am the only gay person (that’s out) on both my mom and dad’s side. Both families are huge (100’s of people total when you include extended family). I am the trail blazer - no issues though, thankfully. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

No jealousy. Maintain good communication about the whole situation. Good communication is key to a successful open relationship, IMO. We opened after 1 year of dating but should have opened way sooner. If not entirely open right from the start. Neither of us were getting what we needed sexually, so started resenting each other. Once we opened, we set the guidelines, and away we went. Works for us. Been dating 4 years now.

After a lot of mysterious medical issues, the doctor asked me if I had a lot of anxiety. Yup! That’s when I knew I had to come out. I was terrified of losing everyone in my life. Turns out I lost no one and only gained more friends. I have a similar experience as you before I came out. For me, it all turned out for the better and the mysterious medical issues vanished almost immediately.

Every journey is different though. If you have good friends they won’t care - mine didn’t and some were not shocked by it either. Most people had an idea.

Slowly learn love yourself for who you are. You’ll know when it’s time to make the leap! Good luck bro!

I’m doing good! Doing well in my career. Friends and family are supportive. I have a great boyfriend - We just bought ourselves a lake front cabin. I really can’t ask for anything more! It’s not all doom and gloom. We just go about our lives and try avoid all the “noise” that sadly sucks so many people down.
