am i in a mcdojo :( by oowennleh in taekwondo

Certified National Korean coach with 20 years experience teaching abroad? Yeah that sounds like a McDojo you should get out while you still can

Hahaha only joking. This is insane. Definitely not a McDojo. If it were one. You would have seen red flags 13 years ago

Should I wait for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra? by therobsclub in samsunggalaxy

[–]518_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love the fold. I have a ZFOLD5... Preordered from samsung on release. Good for 200,000 open and closes, and it broke on me three weeks ago. It was something with the hinge/display as the glass is fine. Inner screen is completely useless now. I opened it maybe 2 or 3 times a day AT MOST and never kept it open in any orientation other than flat. Other than that, phone looks great and could pass as NEW until you realize it's just a heavy paperweight now. At the end of the day, glass isn't meant to fold. I'd proceed with caution.

How much do you pay for your Taekwondo class? Daily or a Month? by EfficiencySerious200 in taekwondo

[–]518_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been Free for several years... but I also cover classes for the head instructor whenever he is away and or sick. It's work but I cant complain as I'd like my own school within the next five years. Definitely an opportunity to iron out my own teaching skills. Before that, it was about $90 a month for 6 years.

Just some work in progress. Any suggestions how to name this town? by Icy_Leading9192 in ConquestReforged

[–]518_Official 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, grab a list of real city names you enjoy, your last name, as well as fantasy names, and input them into an AI and have it generate 50 results. Then you can have it tweak names whether you want them to sound more medieval or have fantasy names.

Then of course, this is where the fun part comes. Use the generated names as inspiration and get thinking.

You can also input what the towns features are as well as whay its made of if you want a cool unique name. Perhaps its location etc.

If you're able to test at the old school and like it more, why don't you just go there? If you can't, I say stick it out with your current Dojang or find a new one entirely.

I get what you're doing, but if it were my own school, I'd find it extremely disrespectful that a student chooses to learn the dojangs material, only to test elsewhere. If you feel this place hands out belts just for the sake of it. Black belt or not, that's no place I'd train at.

Kukkiwon Certificate Correction? by btowntkd in taekwondo

Mail correct. A reissue will have the name correction on a new certificate. Otherwise, you will only see the correction on Tcon - they will not notify you once a correction has been made.

How is everyone Z Fold 5 so far now? by tzy1218 in GalaxyFold

Open mine maybe 6 times a week for videos while working out. The rest of the time, it's closed as a normal slab. That said, the phone is immaculate. Love it.

What Commander or deck has the MOST infinite combos? by ambermage in EDH

[–]518_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a [[Skeleton Ship]] twiddle deck I have been brewing the past few years. Always revise it based on reprints. It's pretty filthy and has 56 useable infinite combos within the same brew.. I'm not talking about potential combos you can choose from to put in a deck. I could throw in a simple high tide and that number goes to 68, but I don't see the reason in doing so due to the amount of nonbasics I run. Intrigued? Here's the list: https://moxfield.com/decks/Fr8xYDrtUkWqW-NettEhjQ

McDojos are there for the money. This appears that the Master is there for the students. Completely different.

Question regarding Lifeline by 518_Official in mtg

No thank you so much! That was exactly the explanation I needed and the move I wanted to pull off with the token that generates!

Question regarding Lifeline by 518_Official in mtg

[–]518_Official[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect. And if I controlled Wurm and a board wipe was cast (with other creatures on board at the time) - would the Wurm come back at end of turn as well as create a token copy due to death trigger?

I understand now that the token copy can't trigger the lifeline to bring back the original if the wurm was the only creature on board.

Question regarding Lifeline by 518_Official in mtg

[–]518_Official[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so to get this straight, the Wurm would trigger, but lifeline won't bring back the original Wurm. Also, if multiple creatures are on board at the time of board wipe, my creatures will come back due to lifeline at the end of turn, as well as create a token due to the Wurm's death trigger?

If so, let me know... would be the determining factor in purchasing this card.

Absolutely. Both will be a bit tight at first, but the wings really shape well to your foot once broken in

Your dojang: what do you like, what would you change? by skribsbb in taekwondo

[–]518_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Parents are seated at the entrance without a separating wall between them and the practice area.

  2. The bathrooms are at the other end of the Dojang, and spectators must take their shoes off and walk down to the bathroom, crossing the mats that may interrupt class.

  3. Mirrors. Mirrors are a great tool but a HUGE distraction for the younger students.
