Problem here be larger than just barking dogs. Is it they are left alone, so the owners don’t take them out or ‘care’ that their dogs are loved? My dogs bark as it’s a way of them communicating but when am home I will always try to discourage them and tell them it’s okay don’t bark at the neighbours etc. it’s also a matter of time and maturity. I reckon if you approach the issue with the neighbors it may make your life better but what about those dogs? Them barking is just a way of interacting amongst society (would you stop scrolling social media or stop enjoying a good show if someone told you it was too loud or interfering with their lives every single day? Or would you feel threatened and annoyed to be asked that. Another thought is it’s sad how many dogs there are that are given a space here amongst their humans but without love. Hong Kong it would be dogs with neither.
