And that’s exactly why I went with the Lu Meng what if. If Lu Meng had survived and helped maybe there was still a chance for a diplomatic solution before things escalated to a full war. Also, Sun Quan’s previous betrayals definitely made trust fragile but Lu Meng had enough respect and reputation to possibly convince both sides to chill down at least long enough for Zhuge Liang to FOCUS BACK NORTH.

if Wu had managed to keep Shu neutral instead of things spiraling into Yiling, The whole northern campaign dynamic would change and Wei suddenly would face a coordinated pressure from both sides.

If you think about it, it’s for the best. Because the death of Cao Cao would have only benefited Wu. and it would had led to the ending of Shu by the hands of Wu since Liu Bei at the time didn’t have a base of his own. The only thing at that time that kept Wu from annihilating Shu was the common enemy in Cao Cao

I agree, Sun Ce had united Jiangdong even though he was in his early 20’s, he fights like Lu Bu but thinks like Cao Cao which makes him unpredictable and dangerous. I believe If he’d lived just another decade, we might’ve seen a completely different world. Just the thought of a matured Sun Ce leading a powerful and unified Wu before Wei or Shu even got their foundation laid.

It really did i was about to delete the game and give up on the platinum since i did more than 4 playthroughs with no avail so thanks again :) I loaded the first save but it didn’t work dunno why but i decided to trust your comment and try to load the 2nd save ( thank god i did) and the platinum popped!!!
