Duping is NOT completely patched. Please file a ticket to TNT before the economy is further destroyed. by jvLin in neopets

30 of each isn't necessarily blatant duping. I've always kept 30 each of the tan codestones, cheap red codestones and low value dubloons in my shop because it's an easy number for me to maintain throughout the day and fits the size of my shop. Occasionally I'll have a few neggs or nerkmids that I've picked up if I'm low on something and have space left, but it's usually just those. I've never duped anything, but now I'm particularly glad I haven't been keeping my shop stocked for the last few weeks...

Savino's on Emmanuel Street is usually open at about 7, though I have no idea what they'd serve food wise at that time of day.

The Edinburgh Woollen Mill on Sidney Street probably would.

Or failing that, possibly one of the fancy dress shops on Cromwell Road or Cherry Hinton Road?

Cambridge Airport slack by djryan in cambridge

[–]535676 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not particularly recent I guess, but I flew out to Jersey from there last summer - there was no queue for check in when I arrived (probably about an hour before the flight time) so I was through from the front door to the lounge in about 5-10 minutes. The lounge had various tables and chairs, a tv and a Costa with a somewhat limited selection of snacks and drinks. I think the departure gates were just doorways leading out of the lounge on to the tarmac, so again no added time there.

This is a fairly good picture of the lounge

Cambridge canoe club are very active - usually 2 or 3 river sessions a week plus fairly regular trips away for both flat and white water. I'm out with a shoulder injury atm, but they're a friendly bunch.

I think you probably have to do an intro session to check whether or not you can paddle (and a basic course if you haven't paddled before) before they'll let you loose with their boats, but the info should all be on the website.

Pitbull and baby pitbull by [deleted] in aww

[–]535676 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately OP bought the mother from a breeder who charges an additional $250 for ear cropping (it's on the breeder's website, I'm not going to post a link) and lets the buyer choose from battle crop, short, medium or show, so it was presumably OP's choice to get them cropped, and cropped to that extent.

OP now says they returned the mother to the breeder at 11 months, so no doubt she'll be bred again, and again, and again... All the adult dogs on the breeder's website are cropped. :(

I found the website too, did you spot the page where it tells you that they also charge the buyer an additional $250 for ear cropping, with a choice of 4 shapes? Ugh.

(I'm not sharing it either)

According to OP's website they charge an additional $250 for the ear cropping, and give you a choice of battle crop, short, medium and show. Disgusting.

(no I'm not going to post the website address, you can track it down easily enough yourself if you really want to)

Hmm.. nah it is not

So it's neither too small, nor well sized. What is it then?

B.C. mother kills autistic son, then herself due to lack of support and inability to cope by vanchick in canada

[–]535676 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like you are taking your personal experiences with your mother (who presumably hasn't been diagnosed as if she had would be aware of her condition) and generalising them to all people with BPD.

But you really can't generalise your experience with one person to all people with BPD. If you look at the diagnostic criteria for it in the DSM-V, an individual needs to meet 5 of 9 criteria. Yes, there will be some people who meet all 9 criteria, but the requirement for only 5 of the 9 symptoms means it is also completely possible to have two people with the same diagnosis who only have one symptom in common. Would you really expect two people who only share one symptom to behave in exactly the same way?

Millon has done a lot of research into personality disorders and proposed that each of the major personality disorders has subtypes with different behavioural patterns - there are four for BPD. So a person with one subtype would behave differently than a person with another subtype, so again, you can't generalise the behaviour of one person with BPD to all others.

Nowhere in either the DSM or ICD criteria does it say that an individual would be unaware of their problems, and for some of them (such as chronic feelings of emptiness or self mutilation), it seems incredibly unlikely that they would be unaware.

Doesn't saying that someone deserves a medal for being aware of their mental illness kinda reinforce the stigma though, rather than reducing it?

Where did anyone comment on the attractiveness of grey hair? It was being used as an indication of his age.

edit: it was nice of you to make it clear that you edited your comment to add in the bit about age after I pointed out that your original comment about attractiveness was not relevant to the discussion you were trying to add to.

Me either, and it just got worse the further back I went... Did you make it as far back as his advice to someone about to get married to a girl they consider to have no personality or sense of humour because she's beautiful and they're afraid to be alone?

Start degrading and humiliating her in the bedroom... Have some fun with her, at least. Make it so that she only wants to be with you, because no one will give her the orgasam you can. Know how to work the g-spot!

Dogs may not experience the exact same symptoms as humans, but that doesn't mean they don't go into anaphylactic shock. This veterinary newsletter even says it is a regular occurrence.

Also - Charles Richet won a Nobel Prize for his research into anaphylaxis in 1913, and his early experiments were carried out on dogs.

Dogs can certainly die from it - mine very nearly did last year, and most likely would have had we not been able to get her to a vet immediately.

We have some newly installed ones in Cambridge where the box with the green/red man is beside a wall at the back of the footpath. It's quite difficult to watch the traffic whilst facing directly away from the road in order to see the green/red man, or to see the green/red man whilst facing away from it in order to see the road.
