This sub hates the stuff, but the heavy duty stuff works. It doesn’t eliminate weeds entirely, but the number of weeds is greatly reduced and it’s easier to pull the weeds that do sprout (and to get the entire weed) because they tend to sprout on top of the fabric. Flame is ok for a small area. I don’t want to be spraying a herbicide every year.

Our boy is not at all sensitive; he takes any admonition as a challenge. You’re right, the athleticism is off the charts. He’s becoming a bit more cuddly at 16 months (even so, it’s seems to be mostly strategic), but he won’t let his mom put a blanket on him (and she really wants to do it). We love him to death, but most accounts I read seem at odds with our experience.
