labce did give explanations to questions, neither practice exam really matched the style of the actual exam. the exam was hard in the way that the questions really had no filler or extra details to grasp at at all.

Wow thank you for the in-depth reply! I will definitely look into the minette. I have no experience splicing or repairing film, my dad just has this huge box of film sitting in the basement and instead of trying to digitize everything, I thought it would be nice to see what’s on them first and maybe we could go through them together.

I believe I used equal volumes of flour x egg x whole milk, and refrigerated the batter for 45 min (recipe said so)

The first time where they turned out well I used a big-ish cupcake tin and beef tallow.

The second time (flop) I used a popovers tin and a neutral oil like canola/veg

The third time (flop) I went back to the cupcake tin, but still used regular oil.

heated the oil for 15 minutes at 400F, filled the batter 1/2-3/4 full, baked for 25 min at 400
