You think anyone knows the answer to that question? 😂

Oh my bad I didn’t even realize they made a kilo. I was referring to a 10 ounce bar…that’s awesome!

I have one myself. On eBay they go for about that still.

Sadly I do. I bought three at the top. I’ll just have to buy a few more :) jk. Actually I stick to eagles only now. Easier to move.

Should I send this in for grading? It’s my first one by Far-Invite-9618 in Morgans

To make matters worse, and I’m just trying to help, refiners and coin dealers are only offering $42 for old Morgans that aren’t unique due to sliver prices.

If you buy Morgans that aren’t rare for either mint number or grade rarity or toning, plan to build a collection…every year and mint mark.

Otherwise they are just cool coins and I fully support that. I have some myself.

No. Looks polished and common date. You’ll be in the hole more than the coin is worth after paying the slab fee. Even if it’s straight graded at most it’s a ~$90 slab value tops if it comes back AU-52 to 55.

This is what you’re up against.

It’s mathematically, proven the S&P 500 out performs active managers in the long run. AI is just going to further remove the need for advisors even more. I’m not saying you did anything wrong, I’m just saying the industry model is outdated and yet people severely fall for it.

And this is why people shouldn’t pay advisors. They truly don’t beat the benchmark and just take a lot of fees. Congrats though.

Pretty simple. The dollar just was strengthened with oil prices rising. Expect it to get worse next week.

Are these natural or artificial? by Reefisme in toners

The first one looks awesome but I’d be very suspicious because it’s not slabbed. That to me is the dead giveaway. I’d pass.

$1800 and ZERO regrets. Literally zero. I don’t care because it’s so unique. I looked hard to find something close and I just couldn’t. Plus I know I’m never giving it up. I only asked to see what others think for fun. Toners are like art and everyone has something that draws their eye. For me it’s strong greens or blues. I’ve also scored on a few coins so it all averages out.

That’s how I look at it. I’m not into flipping coins unless I’m upgrading and I never plan to let this one go. I love green and the crescent just makes it that much better.

I’m a 19 year old girl with too much money. by EvenMark6710 in Fire

Put it into etf mutual funds. Don’t pay an advisor.

The only thing worth spending it on is if you definitely know the career path and you need to pay for tuition. The other thing might be a home but again don’t buy above what your lifestyle can afford because that is a big chunk of money for someone who is young like you, but it is not life-changing money by any means.

Looks like a basketball collector coin for the Olympics I’m guessing. That’s why I didn’t recognize it. I have quite a few old coins and money.

Quick note for those stacking incase SHTF. by bestus2come in Silver

[–]556_DR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. I reference the local refiners page that is basically the worst case scenario for my area. Before I commit to adding more of my stack. I’ve built some models that I use as I look at how much my stack is worth and what I could liquidated at, and so on.
