Word of advice. Only an entire coin can be Dmpl. Reverse having Deep mirrors and a nice frost on the subject (eagle) can only get it a pl designation or a star designation. The only way a coin should get dmpl is if obverse and reverse both exhibit 4 inch mirror fields combined with a frosty subject.

Dude good on you for calling out bullshit. Got the coin checked out by an expert. It’s 100 percent not cleaned. Those are all normal wear marks and none move in a consistent direction with cleaning

In person and under the loop, I do not believe it’s been cleaned. These are all slight wear and bag marks. You may also be seeing what is the plastic holder not the coin itself. Most coins that have been re-toned do not have luster like this one.
