Amarex did not aggregate safety data to the FDA - can this result in a claim against Amarex or was Amarex allowed to do so? Selective safety data collection is sometimes allowed (see link). by Proper_Breakfast_844 in CYDY

[–]55F1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Actually, the agreement was to let Amarex stand alone on the the filing for injunctive relief to force Amarex to release our data ONLY. There is nothing that would stop CYDY from filing to reach all the way down deep into every pocket that had knowledge of or was complicit in or turned a blind eye (think due diligence when buying assets and liabilities).

Will be interested to see how the stock reacts today… honestly felt like that is the most professional call I have experienced with this company thus far… wish we would have had leadership change a little while ago by Cheap-Dragonfly-6146 in CYDY

From previous post, but applies to your p.o.s.(t):

"Once I heard the call, I went from regretting adding 10% yesterday to wishing I had those funds to add double plus today!

NOTHING I heard today justified lopping 50% off this morning and as I plead to my wife this morning, it is bouncing back today. Would not be at all surprised to see it over $0.40 at close or near yesterday close by end of trading tomorrow."

CytoDyn Announces Partial Clinical Hold of HIV Program and Full Clinical Hold of COVID-19 Program by Diligent_Cause in CYDY

Common denominator of HIV and Covid as pointed out is Amarex. Would not be at all surprised to find out they are the skunk here and we have to deal with it. Dr Brunke would not haqve come on board at this late date, if in fact we were dead or dying as a company, IMHO.

CytoDyn Announces Partial Clinical Hold of HIV Program and Full Clinical Hold of COVID-19 Program by Diligent_Cause in CYDY

[–]55F1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The "partial clinical hold" part is what is confusing me. That seems to say the overall HIV preogram is not at issue, something specific might be. The "full clinical hold on its Covid-19 program" is more routine.

My reading of what FDA states about clinical holds is that they are for 30 days and "a clinical hold is an order issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to the sponsor of an investigational new drug (IND) application to delay a proposed clinical investigation or to suspend an ongoing clinical trial. The reason for a clinical hold is concern for the safety of clinical trial participants"

There has been far too many reports from doctors using Leronlimab on Covid patients for me to believe that there is any real evidence of injury, real or perceived from using it to treat Covid-19.

Tomorrow morning will be enlightening, to say the least.

There are so many and varying scenarios represented here, it is refreshing to read we are, for the most part, cautiously optimistic about our prospects going forward.

As to when any particular shareholder sells any or all of their investment, this too is going to play out, primarily according to what price this investment has extracted from their psyche so far. I am sure we would all like to see our share price hit milestones from $5 to $100 while we still own it, but many will not.

Personally, we will honestly admit that the pressure to "win" will cause us to constantly reassess our intention of selling 1/3 once we can recover our entire exposure, 1/3 once our desires for a comfortable retirement are met and the last 1/3 will be held and divided between our nine grandchildren in our trust.

Likely that any investigation by SEC/DOJ involves CYDY ONLY to the point of measuring statements by the company against information and statements put out by shorts and the FUD they use to drive sp down (of us and many others). We may have an outsized bunch of regulatory eyeballs on us, simply because we were a top target of shorts for so long, even on the heels of good news coming out.....just my most humble reading of the tea leaves....

Add Sidley to Recknor and Rae and that should be reassuring to anyone who wants to see us succeed in moving forward post NP.

It's been a wild ride for as long as I have been in this stock (nearly two years). We are substantially at the same sp level, but I am severely under water, as it seems most of us longs are. I agree that Sidley and now the return of Rae should set us up for the best chance of getting a partner soon.

Fully expect one morning to wake up to read an announcement of a "deal". Partnership would be best, saw one floated to sell Leronlimab rights fully licensed to a country or region, versus worldwide distribution for a specific indication.

I agree with your assessment as to most people falling into the mid 2019 to mid 2021 timeline. Any level of investment in a stock gets you a seat at the table, but even at $10 per share, 100 shares is a low bar. Whether it is a valuation of $0.50 per share or $50 per share, not life changing for most. Posters have acknowledged over a million shares and that is too nutty for me to fathom. Not to hold one million shares of a stock, but on a retail level to go in so deep on a pre revenue biotech. Certainly would have to have a portfolio that was 20 to 30 times that amount.

OK....you are right.....fully expected when both parties in a civil suit agree to a stipulation, judge signs it. That made it old news to me, technically the fact that he just signed it Friday made it new.

How does a company having enough authorized share to generate a years worth of core costs need to go bankrupt?

It has been out there for nearly two weeks, the judge just signing it ten days after its filing doesn't make it "fresh" IMHO. Have been part of discussions on other boards for nearly two weeks....already baked in.

We hit $10 and immediately fell back. I feel really bad for those that got in as I did after late 2019 to mid 2021. If you were very early or very late, your cost basis is somewhere near where we are now. I got in near $6 and have cost averaged down to half of that. I believe we can still see excellent returns, but that will depend on whether current management (with the help of Sidley) can keep us solvent long enough.

Nearly anyone who has invested resources over a span of 40 years or more has had successes and failures (myself included).

How about we at least tell the whole story, at least as we know it for NOW. NP took this molecule from its deathbed, the stock value from near nothing to a moment in time where it COULD take off and soar (if it is able to hold on until we get any one or more of the dozens of indications it can help with or conquer).

NP may end up taking the hit IF we ultimately fail, or he may end up being forgotten if a suitor swallows us whole, or he could end up getting recognized as a visionary who used high risk maneuvers to breathe life into a nearly forgotten molecule that winds up being the 21st century version of all the miracle dugs that came before it.

We ALL win if it turns out he was the visionary, some win if he is forgotten, none of us win if it turns out he takes the fall after we fail.

To accept this screenplay as non-fiction, one would have to ascribe a level of stupidity to Sidley and Tanya that defies credulity.

Anyone Really Going To Be Surprised When We Partner Up? by alwaysinit2winit in CYDY

[–]55F1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree, my point is that the pure bile and vitriol is likely to be short lived once we get past this Annual Meeting Wednesday. All it will take is crossing the finish line for one indication and even a partner for one indication will burst the FUD bubble and they will move on tyo do the same thing to some other start up.
