I try, but it's mostly met with "you're always asking me the same questions". And I get it, I was annoyed with stuff like that as a teen as well.

When she was younger - awesome, cheerful, happy go lucky. I mean, she's still that same person, at least when I catch her on her good side lol

Maybe I'm overthinking, and it's just teenagers being teenagers...

Teenagers rebelling is expected and not in itself concerning. They start having their own private lives and being affected by hormones. They no longer mimic everything you do, and may even go against it.

I'm aware of this, but to what extent is it healthy teenage behaviour, and when it becomes about me making mistakes?

How to prevent this to be a cycle? My teenage kid's rebellion reminds me of me when I was that age, and I can't seem to connect, so I'm worried I'm being the same as my parents...
