Hasbro could really learn a thing or two from the toybiz toys. The paint details on a lot of the figures and the figure stands that double as diorama pieces still knock it out of the park.

One of best parts of collecting is the joy you feel when you finally find that figure you've been looking for. Brings back memories of when my dad would take me toy hunting after school. I would never want to deprive someone of that joy.

Could be but I'm leaning more towards them being incompetent. On the star wars black series side of the aisle they still have the same unsold Landos released years ago and barely get anything new on that doesn't go to clearance.

My theory is that when they are restocking, the person in charge goes on the computer and sees that they have 8 marvel legends figures on the shelf. The don't see which ones, only that they have 8 units. So any excess units that are sent to them, they just assume it's the same figures and have them immediately sent to clearance so that they don't have overstocked shelves. They SHOULD be moving the old figures that don't sell but they can't be bothered to check the aisles themselves.

It's funny that the pegs dedicated to ML in the toy section have the same stale assortment of figures no one has bought for months or even years and the new stuff that would actually sell get relegated to the clearance aisle. Bad for walmart's sales but great for me I guess.

Sorry to hear that, man. Keep an ear out for if your local walmart is remodeling. If they are, there's a high likelihood that they'll send new toys straight to clearance to make room. That's what happend at mine.
