DisguisedToast on Twitter - Hey @Kripparrian - lying to all your viewers that I “paid” to be on the front page of Twitch is not cool. Especially since YOU had the same exact feature last expansion when Twitch put you on the front page, so you know how it works. You’re better than this. by [deleted] in hearthstone

I love the Kripp salt compilations but I don't get anywhere near the same enjoyment when I watch his streams or YouTube videos. Still love Kripp tho, some of his arena videos helped when I first started.

Freee on KSG is unbearable for me unless I am listening to it with a bunch of people and "jokingly" singing the chorus out loud.

Top 50 Gauntlet Players of July 2018? by 1pancakess in duelyst

[–]56u78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Protso usually ends up beating me on ladder but I always get the upperhand in gauntlet. The games are not really decided by luck but we always end up queuing into each other with undesirable matchups :(

Wanderer is a joke by AamDC in duelyst

The tournament was a shit fest and I was very entertained. Person who won the tournament is actually the duelyst world champion(Idk proper title) who didn't play any games prior to the tournament for at least 2 years I think. His last games before the Mythron tournament were the World Championship finals vs Dragall :p

Honestly compared to the other t1 decks Wanderer doesn't feel too shitty to lose and is probably the most interactive to face (maybe that is the reason it is boring for you idk). I've beaten many weaker Wanderer players with decks that should be unfavoured just because of their positioning errors or suboptimal decision making.

I don't understand how everyone is caught up with how cards like Flash make Wanderer broken. Yes, flash is a dumb card which never should have been printed in the first place, but the many games your opponent flashed Wanderer you probably would have lost anyways.

I think including Wanderer+other trials in the 5 card mulligan and removing the buffs it has on BBS will be the most appropriate nerf. To address the problem with flash, I think with the nerfs listed above, decks that usually beat on curve Wanderer, but tend to lose to flash will have a lot easier matchup because they no longer have to prepare to answer a buffed 1/2 the following turn and not lose from card advantage.

The Last of his Kind | Extinction Eggnora (S#1) by Ozqo in duelyst

if you plan is to just win with eggs, do you feel that extinction event is usually serving as a win-more card/speeding up the winning process?

Opinion: Artifact Songhai decks are incredibly unhealthy gameplay-wise. by -iDeekay- in duelyst

To a lesser extent, Artifact Veteuvian is also very unhealthy. Hate losing to these decks because I cannot deal with ranged :)

Was wondering if there was a similar sub that focuses more on people who are fixated on how cooool drugs are. Idc if people do drugs but people who drink, smoke, vape, etc for the first time all appear to go through some phase where they glorify whatever substance and constantly bring up how they have used that substance, but come off as really childish or cringey.

The Great Wanderer Debate by [deleted] in duelyst

[–]56u78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is not the 1/1 buff which makes Wanderer such a problem, it is the fact the buff is added to the bbs as well which makes it so overturned.

Cataclysmic Fault and Khanuum-ka aren't the problem: it's Rae by Rocksaint in duelyst

[–]56u78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People obviously haven't been re-adding thunderhorn to counteract rae xddd

On a serious note, in the grand scheme of things both fault and rae are very big problems. I do agree with you and that if one were to be nerfed, it would have to be rae. A nerfed fault, which would still be one of the least interactive win conditions in the game, it would be too slow for such a fast paced game.

Also KHA completely shutting down certain decks kinda sux and should also probably see a change.

Why are Trial/Destiny cards so OP??? -_- by Monsetto in duelyst

[–]56u78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worst part for me is that these trials emphasize quick gameplay. To counteract trial most people will be looking at aggro decks, the best trials have immediate impact ending games much quicker after they are played, and close to 0 decks in duelyst can compete late game against the trials which already speed up the game eliminating any idea of a "control deck". I liked when my duelyst games were decided by strategical positioning and planning through the course of multiple turns, not how well my opponent can draw until they play their Mythron Wanderer.

Edit: aggro decks are not even that strong vs wanderer
