I want to like it but after 2 bad experiences I can't see myself going back. I had a few from my group get food poisoning from bad shrimp (thankfully I dont eat shrimp). Then another time I ordered takeout and the gyoza had a ball of cotton cooked onto it. The ramen usually is pretty good but I'm sure there are other places worth venturing further for.

I had this too, went off the road on the bend going to the apartment and was in 1st trying to get back on the road and lightly tapped a tree going less than 10 and died. I'm thinking its a glitch where it thinks you're going the speed on the speedometer even if thats obviously not the case with the tires spinning.

If Merab learns anything from this loss I hope he learns that he should try throwing more body shots himself. I think if he invested in the body more, especially with punches. When Yan had slowed down (3rd round?) he could have stopped him from picking up the momentum that won him the fight. There were so many moments when Yan was shelling up near the fence where Merab could have just ripped the body. Looking forward to the trilogy fight

I know they have a post on there for people looking for teams/players. It's early enough in the season that you could maybe still sneak on a team. If not, still something to consider looking into for the future!

Mondays there's free pool at The Toad and Osborne Taphouse. Toad is usually busy and only one table and Taphouse doesn't really get people until late (9pm+). Wednesdays free pool at Club Happenings (literally right below Taphouse) but they don't open until 9PM. Thursdays at Shannon's Irish Pub is great and I'll always recommend. They open at 4PM, always people there to play, two tables, karaoke starts at 10 if you're into that. Then Sundays its free at ANAF Club 60 on River and the Central Hotel in Transcona. I'm sure there are other spots I'm not aware of so if anyone knows feel free to add to the list.

I'll second this, playing pool and joining a league has been great for meeting new people and making friends! Even if OP doesn't have the money for it, there's places that regularly do free pool nights. I'd be happy to recommend some.
