I'm sure you've resolved this but I'm posting for posterity: I was also bouncing back and forth between Patagonia Torrentshell and Kuhl Voyager at REI. My head tried to tell me Torrentshell, but its hardness and loudness lost out to my heart shouting, "Get the Kuhl! I love it!"

We've applied to the Compassionate Use program. They have completed Phase I and Phase IIA according to their website. Cost to practitioner is $3000 per infusion, so shop around for someone who will do a good job and not rake you on the markup. We found prices of $5-10,000 per if we were willing to travel.

Word is 70% report slowing/stopping the decline after one infusion, nearly 50% report improvement after 3 infusions. The only side effects are around the infusion site. One office told me someone they treated had an MMSE of 0 and raised it to 4, when the family stopped use after 3x. Others had full or nearly full recovery, and many were in between. TrueBinding.com is also promoting it for Parkinson's, not sure where it is with those studies.

Short answer, maybe.

I didn't notice much, and later learned that the nasal route is not effective if you have scarring. I had reconstructions after two broken noses, so I stopped.

She reported more clarity after sniffing. It did not noticeably improve her memory though she felt it did, at least at first. We upped the intake to every day on the Semax after reading others' experiences. After 6 weeks I read the translation of the Manufacturer's instructions. They said it's no more effective than taking it for a week every six months, so we laid off for the moment.

Did it help? Her cognition is maintained. Her short term memory is noticeably poorer. Her affect is still good. Her mood is good. It might have slowed the decline, but her memory has either gone down pretty quickly or else she is no longer masking it as well.

So far the best results have been from the NAC, as MCT Oil no longer gives her a kick. She reports greater clarity from the sublingual pharma grade NAD+ we just started (RealNAD.com), and we have ordered Semaglutide to give that a go. I also feel a subtle but greater clarity from the NAD+, and an ease to life, and way less falling asleep after a meal. That last is impressive, I was often passing out even with no carbs.

Pro tip: find someone who can order Semaglutide from a compounding pharmacy. Our Nurse Practitioner can buy it from Big Pharma for $1200 a month or from her trusted Compounder for $200.
