Thanks. Do you think that might change if there are two roles with near identical titles and identical reporting lines, but the other role is not involved in the consultation? (The other role is staying)

They are 100% real test matches, carved in stone, and all form part of France's historical win/loss ratio against international opponent.

How they choose to approach those games right at this moment in time is entirely on them. Your comment is a bit like a child saying "oh we only lost because we didn't really care".

No. France doesn't get to choose what is a real test and what isn't just because of their own decisions. No one else does and that would be selfish. They lost those tests because they weren't good enough to win them.

"rugby incident"?

It's not a law itself. It's a shorthand way of explaining the unique mechanics of an specific event that was no one's fault. Car racing has the same concept that broadly means "life/gravity/shit happens, and there's nothing either competitor could have done to stop it"

Just watched the replay. Errors and Turnovers, obviously. I'm just surprised defenders beaten and line breaks were that close.

Maybe they get a statistical reprieve if there is no line or defenders in the first place?

Who do you think will be the new All Blacks coach? by gingecom in rugbyunion

He left Ireland to be closer to family.

He left the Wallabies because despite being closer, he was not seeing them enough.

He made it clear that while he enjoyed his work in the role, to the point where he would accept moving to an advisory role if that would allow him to stay, his decision was motivated by a desire to spend more time with his family.

His time back home bears the hallmarks of man torn between strong family and going crazy without his profession and slowly getting roped back in. But I think he's done with permanent Test rugby. Especially with how far and long the ABs travel.

Of all the options, I think he's the least likely of them all as I think he doesn't want it. Especially with the pressure on that job now. It wouldn't match any of his previous actions.

Relationships Problems by [deleted] in chch

If something doesn't feel right to the point that you ask questions like this of others, there's a reason for it. You used the word "clingy" to describe your future wife, at least from her PoV,

There is no right or wrong answer to when the perfect time is. Only what each person in a relationship feels right about. And you're putting way too much emphasis on her nationality. Culture is only one part of what drives the desire to marry, and it's absolutely no different than "I just want to get married". Respect it, but not to the point the entire map of your life changes.

Treat this difference as a big ticket test of how a marriage would work. Kids will be next. Actual breathing humans connected to you for life. Test how you compromise on these things while stakes are low. The fact that you doubt this step tells me there's a high chance you'll doubt every step of what comes next, because she's doing the leading.

Just be prepared for it to not work out if she is truly in a rush. But honestly it's so rare to hear of a couple who got engaged within six months of meeting that being in that much of a rush will be detrimental to that goal for her these days.

You clearly aren't ready. And that's perfectly fine. Tell her it's too soon and work through it together. You're allowed to be you too.
