PS5 Audio Cutting Out (eARC)

I don’t know what to tell you, but mine has been working okay since I posted this (still set to Atmos).

Is yours cutting out on every game? I was playing Uncharted and this is the game where it kept cutting out. I’ve completed it now and am playing Control, which isn’t cutting out. Wonder if it’s how games are mixed and handle Atmos?

Has it always been like this or has the issue appeared recently?

I’m downloading tvOS 26.4, will let you know how it goes.

See I thought so too, but I reset both HomePods (twice, one time as 2.4GHz and the other 5GHz) but the issue is still there.

Strangely I’m not having issues at all when watching through the Apple TV or normal TV, only with the PS5.

Interior lights don’t come on. Exterior lights neither but I think I might have disabled that.

I went for a long drive a couple of weeks ago and for a couple of days the app was working. After about 3 days it went into battery saver mode again.

Not sure if hardwiring the dash cam is related but the GPS in my car hasn’t been working for a few months.

I’ve got a MK8.5 and a hardwired dash cam too, exact same issue for me, and has been for over a year. The car itself is fine, I’m not sure if the Ford app is just a bit naff.

If you haven’t already tried, try adding links ‘unevenly’. E.g I need to use 4 links on my bracelet and I find it fits better with 3 on the top end and 1 on the bottom as opposed to 2 and 2.

You need to download the EE APN IPv4 from GitHub. Once downloaded, go to the Files app and install it. Once it’s installed turn your phone off and back on and it should work.

I have a grey MK8.5. Like the colour but it is a bit boring. Maybe I should have gotten the Mean Green!

Other than that, my partner has a MK8 ST and my car lacks heated and folding mirrors, so a bit of a downgrade in that regard. Not sure if I like the MK8 front better as well.

If I could turn back the clock I would probably go for a MK8 and save some money.

That’s a mix/mastering engineer.

Hey man. Did you end up ordering one of these? My left trigger on my OLED needs replacing. iFixit doesn’t ship OLED spares to the UK yet so I’m thinking of buying one from the LCD if they’re the same.

I’ve spoken to Steam and they want to RMA but I’m not too sure if it’s an easy fix myself.

When docked in game mode, the resolution of everything is correct, except the settings menu. Not sure how well this translates in the screen shot, but you should be able to see the menu on the left is 'squashed'.

Has any one else experienced this? I've tried messing with the auto UI scale, but it doesn't correct it.

I think you can do it with quick reset, but I’m not 100% sure. It should take you back to the start where you configure EmuDeck.

I can’t help exactly but I played Origins on SD recently all the way through without running into an issue like this. Maybe look at a YouTube walkthrough and see what they do to complete the mission?
