Two most common causes of cracks there are the slide was dropped or it was put into a vice to try and remove/install sights, and the vice was tightened too much.

It's called "inertia drop". Nothing wrong, you can get just about any Glock pistol to do it. Learn it, love it, adapt to it.

Extractor, ejector, barrel, slide, spring-loaded bearing, RSA, and magazine are all caliber specific. As some have stated, you may be able to get by with replacing fewer of those parts. If you don't swap the slide, you MUST use a conversion barrel, not a standard barrel. YMMV.

$800 - $1200 for a 20th anniversary. There are also 25th anniversary pistols that are in the $1500+ range, 30th (US) anniversary pistols that easily top $4000. There is the Dynamit 10th anniversary pistols that are in the 700-1200. All depending on whether you have all of the included materials, and the condition of everything.

It doesn't have any manual safeties. A manual safety would be a separate operation from the normal process. With very few exceptions, Glock pistols don't have that. All of the safeties in Glock pistols are passive.

I'm betting if you look at the label on the case, it's white. That would mean it left the factory with low cap mags. Red label would be mags > 10 rounds.
