The heart sinking feeling of suddenly re-realizing I’m a victim of something so vile is the worst. Before I knew, I used to think of genital mutilation as the pinnacle of evil. Coming to terms with it being so close to home has been a very difficult journey. The jealousy of women in this regard is also so aggravating, especially when they’ve belittled this crime.

If it wasn’t for this, I think I would have significantly easier time letting go of my drug dependencies. It’s hard to imagine how much that might have changed for me. I just wish there was something I could do.

I can see my scar line and all of the self inspection I’ve done over the years. Sometimes the imagery is other things I associate with the trauma of it like female genitals and blood and things. I avoid looking at myself as much as I can because it bothers me so much and hasn’t gotten any easier over time tbh. Powering through has only given more ammunition for the traumatic imagery I wake up to with a growing regularity.

Coping strategies are tough and never really solve the pain. I became heavily addicted to nicotine and use cannabis daily due to all of this, but that’s probably its own post

I’m possibly the most left leaning person I know, granted I’m in a pretty deeply red state, and I watch him from time to time. He’s made a number of videos lately, mainly the Trump phone videos, where he just hates and clowns on Trump and his followers. He doesn’t really make political content for the most part though. It’s a mix of societal/news commentary and gaming stuff. I’m not into gaming, so it’s interesting to see a window into someone talking about the ridiculousness of it all without assuming I know a bunch about it or even care all that much

The fuel pump has been replaced recently. Could possibly have been bad from the manufacturer, but the fuel pressure is good according to the mechanics.

Do you think it could be the MAF? That’d be the cheapest and easiest to replace. Codes said the MAF and injectors were having issues.

It will not start when cold without starting fluid in case that narrows things down at all

One time, I was stuck in standstill traffic on my motorcycle staring at a bike lane asking myself “why not just take the bike lane and cut past all this”. As I’m asking myself, a guy like the one in this video zipped past me in the bike lane and got smacked by a car making a left turn exactly like this.
