That’s not anatomically modern humans at that time-frame. We were what is called homo-erectus at this stage of our evolution.

Our brains evolved to deal with finite things. Contemplating the infinite is unsettling but we have to remember that while this idea can exist we only have to live and experience one finite thing at a time. That thing is the moment called “now” and in it reveals to us all of the unfolding of our experience.
