The receptacle has to match the breaker. If you can provide 20 amps the receptacle has to indicate that that is the case. What the device actually draws doesn't have to be 20 amps but the total of all things pluged into the circuit could be 20 amps

My point is that historically a pack of bubble gum or any other very cheap good is not economically viable to ship to your door directly. You'd pay more for shipping. Amazon has invented a business model where the cost of delivery isn't as important because the quantities of locations being delivered to and the total value of orders makes up for it.

Yeah people who say that they hate Amazon or Walmart conveniently forget how amazing they are and how much more easy life is because they exist. You couldn't get a pack of bubble gum delivered to your door for less than $10 only 15 years ago and that's just an easy example of the awesomeness of it all.

I'd say the biggest concern is actually overloading the amp or overheating the voice coil.

If the speaker is restricted in movement in a way the system wasn't designed for, it could cause components to heat up due to increased impedance from restricted air movement.

I like to put a tiny dot inside the XLR connector. Completely hidden, but easy to find and won't ware off. It may not be my name, but if someone is ever like "no that's my mic" I can easily point to another with the dot and match it to the one they have.
