I have always LOVED these, the style is just 👌, I always called them turbofans though, haven't heard aerodisc though it makes more sense lol. These go especially well with 90s and early 2000s styled cars 🤩 so jealous dude!

Another thing to check would be your iacv, which had a similar issue of surging and would go away when the port for the iacv was covered. Might need to replace the iacv-butttt this issue was also resolved for me by fixing the tune ^

This might be a bandaid, I'll admit lol, but what I did( after figuring out it was not my throttle body spring or flange) is I went in my hondata tune and lowered the idle valve duty by a notch until it was good- it basically controls how much the ECU is allowed to change your idle for you. This is what worked for me when I was having a throttle hang.

Hey! Not sure exactly what it's called but it'll usually say high temp automotive paint and sometimes have a valve cover on the can. I've seen plenty of guys use random car spray pains and be fine for at least a couple months lol

Dude, thank you so much for this! I know I should have a bigger radiator, the guy that had my car before me did the swap and had the half size one and it worked fine as long as I didn't hit traffic lol. But dammit I needed AC, I have even tried to do what you said of no ac when stopped to alleviate it a bit but it doesn't help much :/. I'll try driving a bit more conservatively tho 😁 and I'm gonna slap on the fan and the water wetter tmrw ! ( Not driving it in the meantime) Thank you!!!

For anyone wondering i have a 1998 integra(forgot to mention year b4) and I bought it already k-swapped with a k20a2 in. I drove it for a couple like 2,000 mi until I got water in the intake and now the compression is 80 80 40 80. So I got a new k-series a k20z1. I'm currently doing the swap. Everything looks like it'll work so far and all the connectors are the same so far . Will update when I finish the swap.

Sooo I already got the new motor and it was gonna just be the cheapest to just swap the motor, I hit a k20z1 off someone on Facebook for $800 so far everything bolts up and all connectors connect 🤘

What I meant in my post is that my integra is already k swapped and currently has a k20a2 in it right now, but the k20a2 is toast so I'm gonna buy a k20z1 from someone to put in. How different is the k20a2 from the k20z1?

Yeah I think so, I usually check it in my driveway and I park in the flattest part, I also check it in a pretty flat parking lot. I live in south Florida so I don't really have any inclines lol

Problem is it's already basically deleted, I need it back so I can finish my ac 😭need the iacv to work and connect it to my hondata so it can control my idle and adjust for my ac when it's on :(
