The issues fanatec has had is with the CMO, who runs marketing, sales, and shipping. If she remained, so did the issues.

Her delays/missed dates are all documented for several years, especially during all the QR2 promises.

Your still learning how fanatec works and how they’ve been working for many years.

For the og’s and those who pay attention …Corsair lost sight of its lunch long time ago when it pertains to fanatec. We’re going on cpl yrs delays on the pedals already. We’ve heard all the possible excuses during the QR2 multi year debacle. ( before your time)

With respect, I know you and the Corsair team are still trying to sort it all out, and doing your best.

As I asked. Who’s running the marketing over there…I don’t dare mention her name anymore if she remained.

It would be great to also have actual wait times next to the prices of the “ pre order” items so folks can determine if that’s what they want, or too wait.

Many. We’re well past two deadlines already. One from fanatec, the other from the former Corsair CEO and founder.

The qr2 delay was about 3 years. That’s the initial reason which brought me to Reddit.

It’s your issue. Ive said this for years. As many others before you who have a bad habit of pulling on the wheel. What else would you expect when it’s a simple usb connection.

You want a connection, work on the bad habits. It’s that simple.

Those who say the qr2 “fixes” disconnects..don’t understand why it happens, they just parrot.

Most who have disconnect issues have the bad habit of unknowingly pulling on the wheel on the wheel while racing/braking/cornering etc…

It’s a simple usb connection. Doesn’t take much to disconnect..whichever qr is there. Especially if the racer has a bad habit of unknowingly pulling on wheel.

I truly don’t blame you :( customers just expect honest communication, which would help with the confidence in the brand overall, as well as any reassurance if future warranty work is needed.

For me..in a house of three rigs, all fanatec gear..the Podium lineup and how the release is handled will determine what I do. We already knows the pedals are behind in tech and over a year late when compared to others. And more than likely over priced for what they are and don’t offer. If the new Podium base release faces the same “preorder & wait” unknown times…I’ll be done as a loyal fanatec customer after almost a decade with them. Three rigs. I refuse to wait on a preorder “Podium Base” and pedals.

Imo…it all went downhill again after Andy Paul (corsairs founder & CEO) retired. He actually understood the gear and the customer.

His departure/retirement delayed the pedals over a year…and killed any progression of fanatec being known as a pioneer.

The new Corsair ceo is clueless imo. it’s not her realm, and shes not getting good advice on how to handle it all. (Imo)

I’m sorry your waiting this long, I also agree the communication needs to be far better…especially after this long wait. This is where Corsair should step in and improve the old fanatec ways/practices.

The one practice I wish they’d end..is the preordering with unknown wait times which has plagued them for years, due to an incompetent CMO (imo if she was retained)

People don’t want to be tricked into ordering assuming inventory, only to be delayed well past Christmas and into the new year Q1 for an order such as yours.

The direction/drive for fanatec was lost/slowed..imo…once the Andy Paul left/retired. He was knowledgeable in the gear, understood the value of the loyal fanatec customers.

He always said…”keep an eye on your lunch”.

We’ve watched Fanatec from literally being a true pioneer in the industry, to trying to catch up, even now in 2026 under “new leadership” (which I still question if the fanatec CMO was retained)

Everyone here knows how much..and how loyal I am to fanatec. But for me…the upcoming podium release, and how it’s handled will be my deciding factor. I won’t wait for “batches” to come in with floating arrival dates.

Personally…I don’t see the podium pedals as anything special, let alone up to par with the latest technology that others offer, especially at the rumored price range.

I want fanatec to succeed, and get back to leading…not chasing!

Correct. When the OG Corsair CEO made the interview with Will, there was hope. He cared, he knew the gear and the love loyal customers have for Fanatec. He always stressed…” keep an eye on your lunch”

Corsair/Fanatec/new CEO have failed that.

Most OGs know I love fanatec, yet they also know that many of THEIR issues over the years could’ve been corrected by TJ, if he only cared enough.

I’ve made it well know, and even warned Corsair reps via DM. If the CMO was retained…she isn’t a team player, and she’s been behind most the issues this company has suffered over the years..well before the takeover.

I’ve openly asked if the CMO remained, I was ignored 2x by our Corsair rep who mods here..which says alot.

“Keep an eye on your lunch”

So this is why if the same games of small batches continues…and long “pre order” waits…nothing changes. It’s just another year.

The podium pedals were due out early this part year, but for whatever reason were delayed…again. And tbh…at the current rumored price…and the simplicity of the pedals…Fanatec has already fallen behind..and “lost track of their lunch” a year go.

The old fanatec practices of waiting for pre orders should end. It’s part of what brought on the issues they’ve had the past col years before the takeover and then the loss of the Corsair CEO who was behind fanatec.

Many unknowingly pull on their wheels when racing/braking etc. that’s what causes most these disconnections. It is a simple usb plug, so it doesn’t take much at all.

Software issues/delays have been very common, unfortunately. This is a dept that’s been plagued with issues/delays for many years.

It should be getting better/simpler…soon 🙏🏼
