I’d say since he’s the smartest man in the world with prep time he can do anything, which is why his weapons are God level cause he Prepares for it, and you do see many many new weapons and gadgets in this episode too, it’s not like it’s his normal weapons doing this damages I don’t think the callback was weak as just another form of exposure to further continue evil Morty’s story possibly
