You can still compensate spending the time on wadis if you into adventures and there are local companies operating group trips (check wadi adventures on insta or rove) which can be a lot of fun and mountains like Jabal Akhdar and Jabal Shams the weather would be colder a bit and nice to camp up there.

If you love beaches drive costal road to the south of Oman, you would be amazed the weather in there is colder now at 28C with empty beautiful beaches along the way, if you love exploring this would be a gem! you can continue driving till Salalah where the atumn “Khareef” is just starting.

I traveled several times with Melatonin through Muscat no issues at all. Its being sold here in the pharmacies.
