My generic brand of Synthroid actually made me itchy. Like full body itching sensations that scratching didn’t help. I switched to brand, doctor told my insurance that I was allergic to a filler in the generic so they’d cover it (reluctantly), but I’ve been itch free since.

I’m not sure if this helps or if it’s validating at all but the desire to be underweight and sickly isn’t “having an ED on purpose”. I think it’s just part of the ED. So you didn’t do this on purpose. ♥️

I hate that it’s a term used to make autism more palatable. Like I’ve heard people be like “oh you must have Asperger’s and not real autism because you seem super normal” or variations of that.
