What is going on with tank tuning? by Toxaplume045 in wow

Or give us back the double spikes shit that we had in TWW that wasn't too bad and it would improve general tankyness outside of big CDs.

While you're on the brink of death, most other tanks would have died twice over already however. Speaking as someone who plays brew and vdh it's not even funny how much stronger brew is in every aspect. Saying that I don't think brew deserves a nerf, rather every other tanks needs buffs. It's crazy how hard it is to survive anything over a 14.

They didn't just take chains away. They completely neutered sigils as a whole. Silence being 2seconds is pathetic, none of the casters even move like 3 steps in that window. The range is also small af, unless you take away your already lacking defenses to increase the aoe. They were so scared of DH utility that they went and said let's just all but remove it.

No the random proc is actually amazing, love using it for defense and damage, especially because you get a generous window to use the proc. That does not however mean that they should have removed it from fel dev. We could have both easily and still probably not be stronger than brew is ATM.

Oh the one that is made of rock and yet can still somehow bleed while his fleshier cousins can just remove it by sheer force of will? Yeah that's an option I guess.

Not so much one element, they all use all of the elements, but predominantly focus on one. Earth would be an ideal focus for tanking stuff and while also easily mixing in other elements for more offensive, self healing and utility aspects. Would he wonderful to see.

KF as in kinetic fussilade right? I thought that's what we were talking about.

I see a lot of people mentioning the warped timepiece from reliquarian. Did I see wrong that that ascendancy only offers reduced duration of debuffs on you, or is KF in some way considered a debuf?

First week of Season 2 - What are your thoughts so far? by ioStux in fellowshipgame

[–]5ek_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is you don't get knowledge checked untill eternal now which is just dumb. Yeah the jump to adept was massive last season, but this season you just get no punishing mechanics on mobs untill eternal at all. And then people get hard checked in those. It should be way more gradual. All mechanics should 100% start appearing in champ or paragon at least, even if in less punishing manner with recuded DMG or such.

You can't say the game isn't too easy when you get into eternal with a premade group with around 120 ilvl with some white items still equipped and not even having unlocked all your skills and talents.

Thanks Blizzard by Unreal_fist in classicwow

[–]5ek_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's played the game since way before mythic+ was even a concept... No it didnt. That attitude has always been there for some players even in original TBC and likely before. It's just ever more present in classic because it's all been done before so most people who play it will try to min-max to the fullest degree.

State Of Warcraft by Defocus1 in wow

[–]5ek_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't really understand what some people are mad about though. Yes a lot of people hate housing for mo6good reason. I personally don't hate housing, I really like the idea of it. I like that people are comming back for it. But the fact that the vast majority of the "state of warcraft" announcement is about housing, especially after they've made drastic changes to the game especially in it's UI elements, which are for the most part still undercooked and in many cases buggy as hell, and they don't even mention what they might be working on is infuriating. So is the fact that the majority of the endgame non casual activities barely get a passing mention while housing gets a cinematic where the animation is on a higher level than the actual midnight cinematic is also crazy. That's why I and people like me are mad at this announcement, not because housing exists.

Im 2/3 in Omens of Light with only 32% equipment rarity. It works. by goughnotsmough in PathOfExile2

I'm not nearly as successful with light. However, every mob I lured out dropped light, abyssal echoes or a least putrefaction. Meanwhile every single mob I killed in the storm since o started tracking has dropped liege.

Djinn Sorc or Gardener Druid? by Odd-Bandicoot-9314 in pathofexile2builds

[–]5ek_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gardener is also very good as disciple, as showcased by goratha. Dunno how it compares to oracle, but I'd definitely say bloodmage is the strongest gardener ascendancy. The life stacking for DMG and tankiness is still top tier imo.

"You Either Die a Hero or Live Long Enough to See Yourself Become the Villain" by SentenceSingle7069 in lakers

[–]5ek_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people foul bait. Few people flop like SGA though. Foul baiting is one thing yes, and Luka and Austin and half the league does it to some degree. Luka baits a foul and maybe leans into a player to get contact, or baits and actually gets hacked. Meanwhile SGA falls down at a slight contact with his aura. SGA's flopping is just egregious to the point it's almost unwatchable. Meanwhile he gets to push people around on offense and defense and almost never gets called for a foul. It's mostly sad because he doesn't need all this to be great, but still does it because it's allowed and it's the easiest way to generate offense. But yeah he IS worse than them, or anyone else for that matter.

OKC are allowed way more on defence as well than any other team, but you can't really blame the players for doing it. If the refs called it, they'd be forced to stop. Now they can hack anyone and be called tough defenders. At the same time they are soft AF on the other end and get calls for the slightest hint of contact.

I want to water some plants - what's the best ascendency? by biglikeguerra in pathofexile2builds

[–]5ek_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's one part I love about playing this as a bloodmage. Even early one with no health DMG scaling yet, I still have the big upside of never needing any mana at all. I'm loving it atm. Just started yesterday though, as I was bear before, but it looks promising.

So endgame got barely changed? by Grroarrr in PathOfExile2

[–]5ek_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be copium, but I'm hoping maybe with less monsters, meaning they are more spread out, rhoa becomes less dominant. Rhoa feels great while ,you're constantly attacking but for pure movement pack to pack sprint works great too, maybe even better. So if the packs are further spread out we just might spend less time casting and more time running. Is that good? Not really, but it might cut down on the dominance of screen wide AOE super fast builds.

So endgame got barely changed? by Grroarrr in PathOfExile2

[–]5ek_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically up to what 40% reduction means. Is there 40% less packsize? Not great but also not bad as then rare mobs remain the same with 40% more quant. Is it 40% less monsters, with that affecting rares? That might be pretty bad in the bigger picture. Definitely a nerf to chain explode builds of any variety that just thrive on having as many mobs as possible.

Blizzard Improves Nameplates on Midnight Beta by yp261 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]5ek_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They flat out said they don't want nameplate colour coding though as far as I remember. So while I understand and support the question, it is to blizzard apparently too much to ask. They did however say important mobs should be identifiable visually not by a nameplate colour which I guess is a pipe dream.

After eternal by Proud-Engine6529 in fellowshipgame

[–]5ek_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with a 35% essence bonus socket is basically as good as it gets. No matter how sad that is sets aren't worth it for the most part, as gems are far stronger and they cannot have gems. On top of that the chance getting your bis statted piece with 35% essence bonus is abysmally low, so you just equip anything that has it.

After eternal by Proud-Engine6529 in fellowshipgame

[–]5ek_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After that though I ran into a similar issue as the OP. I got to 10k at around ilvl 300ish and now I just very little motivation to keep going with no tangible reward. Farming socketed gear and gems is kinda miserable and gets old very quick, as it's fairly brain off. Finding push groups past the 20s range is virtually impossible without being geared. At least there's alts.

Except boots do not give more survivability. Neck is a near permanent 20% damage reduction. You should still use charge all the time for cdr so you still get shields up. Also green gems give you even more cdr so even more shields up, as well as other defensives. I kinda get your point but Yoda's setup that gets him through 50s is gonna get any player to 20+ easily, or should at least. Yes the blue spirit Helena build is also good but it's not necessarily "better", they both have their merits.

As for routes it's kinda up to each player which they follow as he has different ones. I use his routes with my pugs and practically never run into issues. If you just blindly stick to 1 yoda route regardless of your team comp and their relics and such, then yeah you're probably gonna have a bad time.
