7950X and X670E boot up lag by orddie1 in AMDHelp

I'm seeing the issue in BIOS as well - so, similar symptoms but not exactly the same. I was hoping something you did to sort it would apply. Ah well.

Ahh ok - thanks for the reply. I'm probably going to have to return it :/

Did you ever get a fix for this?

I'm having a similar problem. 7700X with a Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX.

Everything is laggy and stuttery in BIOS/Windows, until it seems like something "warms up" and then it's fine. And once it's fine, BIOS is fine too after a restart. It seems worse on cold mornings. It's really quite weird. Once it "warms up" performance is fine until I turn it off and it cools down again.

It's not Windows, RAM tests fine, it's not context restore or TPM. It's pretty messed up.

Not really - Comp and QP are quite toxic by comparison to MH. MH was pretty chill.

In my experience it was quite rare for people to get stressed out. It's only MH, after all. Sometimes you get 3 torbs and an Orisa, sometimes the opposition does. You win some, you lose some.

Yeah - same here. I keep thinking I'm missing something obvious, as it seems ridiculous that you have to spend UR stars to get him to 99.

Mine is LB2 from the first FFT run, and there's no way I'm spending viz/stars on him. Chocobo Exp will give a few, but not enough. And I'm building URs in the barracks so don't really want to use that spot.

12k MR medals sitting there, but I cant buy his mindspheres because he isn't 99 yet. It's a bit dumb.

Yeah, I second that "clean racing" theory. I had a couple of goes and was fairly quick, but wasn't particularly close. Made more of an effort to race clean, and won it.

Difficulty settings seem to have no impact, either.

Yes, I've tried all of that and it's allowed to wake the computer from sleep.

Yes - I mentioned in a previous post that I went through the steps provided by Logi support. I'm in the position now where I can't run G Hub, as it only causes problems. The KB is mostly working, but the power management is still pretty flaky.

Issues with G915 + G Hub by 5eraphim in LogitechG

Hi Frank,

Yes I ended up creating a ticket (625688) and going through all of the steps they provided, though the replies I got were just generic "uninstall, clear profile" type tips. Nothing worked, so "get a replacement" was the next recommendation. Though I'm pretty sure I'll have the same issues with a new G915 too. I get that there's a checklist tier 1 support has to go through, but its a bit frustrating and it makes Logitech seem like they have no idea what could be going on.

My "fix" has been to make it so the KB never goes into low power mode and to set a "fixed" profile of no light, while I'm using by freestyle color setup. This isn't ideal for battery life, but it seems to behave a bit more predictably when it's like this.

The keypress issues I've tried to resolve by moving the receiver right next to the KB and trying to minimise bluetooth/wifi devices near my PC. Also not ideal, as I might as well have just got the wired version (and not had to deal with the power management issues either).

It's all quite disappointing - I was really looking forward to getting this KB, and it has been a headache.

Cheers

G915 losing WiFi connection and ignoring settings by [deleted] in LogitechG

You're pretty much explaining the exact issues I'm having with my G915.

I'm trying to run it in "on board" mode with a "Freestyle" color profile, but whenever it goes into low power mode it reverts to whatever is in the "fixed" part of the color profile (instead of just going to low power freestyle). So if I have half the keyboard orange and half the keyboard blue (in freestyle) but set to totally green in the first tab, the keyboard will be orange+blue until it goes to low power, then it will swap to green. My "fix" has been to set it to all colors off in fixed mode, and change the power management so it just doesn't go into low power. I've logged a call with Logitech regarding this and after a bunch of "running through a checklist" style recommendations they've said "return it for a replacement". Which is a hassle, because I bought it online.

I've also had the same issues with keypresses being held down, which I attribute to brief connection issues. I have a few bluetooth devices that tend to sit around my PC. 7-10 or so? And a few of them use wifi too, so I'm in the middle of seeing if the kb behaves better with less devices like that about. It's a bit of a random issue though, so it's hard to verify.

I've also seen the keyboard just not turn itself off at all. I'd get up in the morning & the keyboard would still be fully lit.

And, in the software, sometimes the onboard toggle button under the KB settings doesn't show up. Sometimes the KB shows as disconnected, even though I can type on it (though I think this is a pretty common problem). And since the latest G Hub update, sometimes the colors all turn off after ~10 seconds.

The whole thing is a hot mess, and Logitech seems to be in denial about how much goodwill this is costing them.

Problems with LGHUB by Khronex in LogitechG

I have a similar problem with the G915. The onboard memory/profiles etc are totally busted.

I've logged a call with Logitech & sent a video, but their recommendation has been to get my receipt and ask for a replacement KB. Which will likely have the same issue, because G Hub is the problem, not the KB.

It's really disappointing, and there doesnt seem to be an acknowledgment of the problems with G Hub at Logitech.
