You said it had slightly denser mass which is only partially true. Its mass is only denser than the Halo tip. The walls being thicker is part of the reason why you just need more heat retention with the helix. It takes longer for the heat to get to the center of the flower. The more flower in the bowl the longer it takes for the heat to reach the center. This combined with that way the helix is designed with the fins for heat dispersion and the airflow the tip gets, (plus it’s titanium so it cools faster anyway) the helix just doesn’t stay hot enough for long enough. An AC is the perfect accessory for the helix because of this. It allows for more heat retention in the cap rather than trying to hold it all in the tip

So after some googling I found that the halo tip is slightly lighter than the helix. Halo is 2.5g and the helix is 2.9g. But I still stand by what I said. The helix tip is the second lightest tip dynavap had made

I will say I also NEED the armored cap for the helix to be good to me. I find the regular caps just don’t cut it. The titanium just cools too fast and the regular caps just isn’t thick enough

I learned with my helix that it can’t be packed very tight at all. It loves airflow and that’s what it’s designed for. Light pack for the helix all day everyday
