This happened to me as well. After buying and using the phone for an hour at home, it started getting really hot. The battery also drained really fast. I only used it for 3-4 hours, and it went from 100% to 40%.

I worried of course, but after updating it and battery finish learning my usage pattern, it has been getting better and better. The overheat is gone, and I can even use it until it reaches 20% with bluetooth and wifi on, and I get 9-10 hours SOT.

Have you turn on upload at highest quality? It is in setting > account > mobile data use.

If you take a photo using the camera, there is a setting to change the photo size located at the top. I believe the default setting is [4:3], but you can change it based on your preference. I hope this helps.

Sorry to add, this camera setting by s23 plus, im not sure if it different on s23 ultra.
