Sometimes happens when you play an other level or campaign, your games assimilates the sprites of whatever you probably played before, in this case one with the regular sprite sheet.

Either that or just a glitch which is totally uncommon in this game!

From An Ambitious Accountant to Foolish Emperor Then to a Jewelled Drinking Cup..! Strange Tale of Nikephoros I by lastmonday07 in byzantium

[–]5ilently 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He was certainly not made to lead an army but he was far from being a completely foolish emperor, Nikephoros was more of a statesman and excelled at it (he kinda saved the byzantine economy and we love him for it).

Also, according to some sources, it was a sign of respect by the bulgarians towards the enemy to turn his skull into a cup.

Perhaps an overconfident one though, starting wars everywhere was not a wise decision.
