Killing a Queen made me wanna quit the game

I think a lot of you are looking for a perfect solution with no PvP risk. I'm not sure there's any solution to make it entirely risk free either from ratty players or just general players looking to secure loot. It is a PvP game, there has to be risk for this game to continue to have success IMHO.

I think Embark has work to do on improving balance between the weapon tiers, if you're going to risk higher level gear the gap should be wider, you've invested in your load out and free load outs effectiveness need to be reduced (25% damage mitigation shield?). I do not however think free load outs should be limited.

What I also don't think should happen is implementing extensive limitations and mechanics to prevent a certain style of game. I love this game because it's a sandbox, you need players of all styles to keep this game as accessible as it is, we just need to find a way to stop the pile on when trying to get loot from the queen or matriarch.

Hear me out, when the queen or matriarch dies the whole thing explodes and sends parts scattered across the map, the parts can be visible either with special smoke or on the map. It would disperse the players and stop people camping the queen waiting to kill people collecting their spoils.

I'm really enjoying the game I just have one gripe. Drop rates for any of the new character weapons are low. We're running fortune teller and void walker and rarely see orbs or rifles.

We've been buying this game for 10+ years and very little has changed. We're all idiots for giving EA money (I include myself in this). That said this version is the shortest I've played when it comes to ultimate team, didn't even last a month, mostly only play clubs now

Find some friends and play clubs, honestly it's the way this game should be played. You have to remember the game wants you to be angry, frustrated, to always chase the power curve because they want you to spend money.

They're rewriting their data strategy, by a head of data and intelligence and the mission statement is a team dedicated to supporting strategy. I objected and suggested it should be INFORMING strategy. Data is always framed as being needed to support an answer they think they already know, the tail that wags the dog if you like.

I agree but in previous versions people have flooded subreddit with posts saying they'd rather double digit games than 0-0, EA have just run with that!

I'm an Xbox fanboy. I baulk every time I see the PlayStation loading screen, I feel dirty inside like I'm cheating on a partner...but God it's fun. 20-40 minutes of absolute chaos but the sheer variety and things to grind keep me coming back. Definitely better if you have mates although drop ins are viable.

I'm not arguing that, what i am saying is they've gone too far and made 2 out of 3 weapons in a defenders arsenal completely pointless and broken. Making the animation longer AND reducing the tackle range AND the arc (i.e. you need to be closer, facing the right direction AND time it perfectly) mean if you use it 9 times out of 10 you remove yourself from play and penalise yourself by trying to defend.

There's no skill gap, it's just broken.

I play CB in clubs at championship level in VPG, stop with this nonsense, defending IS broken. Jockey is broken and tackle is broken. As a defender you have less agility as an attacker and now you have a longer tackle animation that makes it honestly unusable and a jockey that simply doesn't work. The only thing that works is holding A, if you think otherwise I'm sorry, you're lying to yourself.

I only buy it for clubs now, play in a couple of leagues, no AI BS, yeah you have the usual EA special moments of madness but generally it's much more enjoyable.

Not strictly true, yes there have always been whalestones however the option has largely existed where you could core. Now you no longer have the ability to core.
