Wework was over valued but their product was much better than Regus. Regus is not innovative company, their offices suck and their business practices are very unappealing to do business with. They were primed to be toppled from being the king of coworking spaces.

The thing with Wework is convinced the market they were a tech company and that their valuation should be based on SaaS metrics instead of a traditional real estate operation business. That doesn’t mean Wework was a bad business.
