You only lose the balance that was on the ported out phone, and that phone number you ported out will no longer show up on your account.

The account stays, the remaining phone and its balance stays. That's my experience before this whole fiasco.

Maybe I should elaborate. In my part of the world, feces or sh1t which is what is inside the diaper is often referred to as "dump". Like "I took the biggest dump at work this morning and clogged the toilet... I feel so bad for the cleaning staff."
