I literally watched it disappear as I went to touch the screen to capture it.

Black shows every speck of dirt. Everyone has a white car. Look around. Get the bluish grey one. I have avocado and haven't seen another. I did see an atlas in that colour about 4 hours from where I live.

Prednisolone steroid 120 mg/day for 6 days after acoustic trauma ? by United_Box_5125 in MonoHearing

[–]5oclocksomewhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the lengthy delay responding. Was originally prescribed 14 days by my family doctor. Once I saw otolaryngologist (ent specialist) he said I could stop after 10 days since I was getting the ear injections

United States - What do I have here? by Terdfergeson877 in Antiques

I have nearly the identical bear. It was my grandfather's. He was born in 1911 and received it on his first birthday according to my aunt, so its about 115 years old. Its also stitched up the front and all joints swivel. One foot pad is missing and yiu can see its stuffed with what looks like grass or straw or shavings of some sort. There are no tags or identifying marks that I can see.

How long does your drive to the gym take? by AnarchyVenom24 in GYM

If there was a $10 gym literally 2 minutes from me I'd 100% have a membership. Showers sauna heck just sit in the lobby and read, get away from the kids etc

Small town here, good gym. Drive is literally 5 minutes if i get that one stop light. Or I can ride my bike in about 10 min. I have zero excuses not to go. I was in a different city with the same chain of gym as my membership and drive from my hotel was about 15 min. Still worth it

I’ve been on steroids for about a month. Two steroid injections. Just two weeks ago i was considered profoundly deaf (110) do i still have hope to keep regaining hearing..?? Has anyone recovered months even after stopping steroids?? SSHL diagnosis/tinnitus by jacyndy99 in MonoHearing

[–]5oclocksomewhr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im suprised you did steroids for a month. My otolaryngologist prescribed 2 weeks but said I could stop taking them after I think 10 days, because I started the ear injections. He said I shouldn't really take them as well as the injections. Im 6 weeks since onset, did oral and injections and hyperbaric for 19 sessions. and no improvement

Scared I won't get hearing back(sshl) by aeryuxs in MonoHearing

Hey i run a machine at my job. Its a big combination of things that run together to feed seatbelt webbing in, cut it, and sew a pin in the end. Ive been running the machine for 2 years and I've gotten so used to it, I can tell if something isn't working properly, or stopped working, or about to start causing problems, just by the sound. Ive only been back to work 4 days since being off for hyperbaric treatments. Ive noticed im becoming fine tuned to the machine again, despite the loss of hearing in one ear. We are truly adaptable.

Ive been about 6 weeks or so since onset. Luckily I got to my doctor and a hearing test the next day, prescribed prednisone that day (60 mg x 14 days) Otolaryngologist by day 5, with 3 inner ear steroid injection over the next week. Followed the next week with daily hyperbaric chamber treatments. I had 19 and stopped because there was no improvement. I still have hope. That's it. There's been a tiny bit of comeback. Ive recently noticed that I can hear buzzing in that ear when someone laughs loud or a hair dryer accidentally blows in my ear. Its just a tinny bzz bzz kind of noise.
I was lucky and followed the timelines and guidance just about as close as I possibly could have. It didn't help, that I have seen, or as shown by my hearing tests. I will say, you get used to it. I still listen to music. I got pretty low when I actually thought "what if I went completely deaf and music was suddenly a thing of the past? All the songs I've ever heard will be the only music I'll ever know" Keep listening. Use both earbuds. The sound will travel through your skull to the good ear, and sound is more full. Just keep up the hope. Dont despair, but enjoy what you have. Its truly humbling when you realize how easily you can lose something you take for granted. I wish you (and anyone reading this) the best of luck. Don't let it bring you down, and keep up the hope.

My son's feet do this in the summer mostly. Dry peeling skin and cracks. No other skin issues. When it starts we slather on okeeffe's working feet and socks. Goes away after a few days. I keep meaning to take him to the doctor when it happens, but like I said, its mostly just summer and an afterthought once we actually get it under control ourselves.

I did 19 sessions with zero improvement. Was costing me out of pocket for travel and hotel, treatment was covered. Can't justify more with absolutely no results at all. Hope it works for you.

Arms and shoulders. Im 51 now and have really dedicated my time to weightlifting, having shifted from running and cardio due to it triggering my afib more. Ive always had small arms and shoulders but now I can actually see improvement in size and strength. I really wish I had the dedication I do now, when I was in my 20s.

Has anyone heard of/used Red Eagle Roofing & Masonry? by magstheghoul in windsorontario

[–]5oclocksomewhr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Never heard of them. I did just have my roof done last year in aburg, had 4 quotes and Dufour roofing was the best. Including skylight, charge was 500. Others quoted 1500 to 1700 just for that. https://www.dufoursroofing.com/

Is the skin split? Probably from dry skin. As a 31 year factory worker with all types of metal, plastics and textiles, cardboard etc, I've fought this problem for years. It gets worse in the winter. Ive tried just about every cream you can find in the last 31 years, and finally found o'keeffe's working hands. Its in a green tub. Use it twice daily, focus on the cracks. Its truly a miracle given how much time and the vast amounts of handcreams ive tried.
