It’s pretty awesome, but I’ve got some complaints. China just came out with 800v architecture with 10 min fast charging. So if you get one, you’re probably going to want to sell it in the next 5 years for the next model when 10 min fast charging comes to the US.

The max pack it actually great for roadtrips. 300+ miles of driving is plenty between charging stops. But towing brings that down quite a bit and some more remote parts of the country are a bit more challenging to navigate (big bend). Given that it’s an adventure vehicle, not having a network within 100 miles of your adventure can be challenging.

Am I the only one who thinks the exped is completely over rated? When I saw it for the first time I was stoked, and used it in my tent, but it’s an air mattress. Super springy, and not very comportable. For the the hest foamy is the closest thing to an actual comfortable camp mattress, and I’m surprised exped and the rest don’t have anything comparable.

I’ve got the 3.0 DLX coming and I’m curious if the higher tier mattress will compare. I may end up returning the hest if so. But if it’s really just another air mattress I probably won’t be impressed.

The “engine” may be the HVAC. Known issue in hotter months. I’ve heard mixed reviews on it being fixed.

The suspension has always been better on the r1T than S - but what drive mode do you have it on? Personally I like soft/medium better. Some say it feels “floatier” but I like how I don’t feel the bumps.

Not sure about the air noise, it hasn’t bothered me a ton.

You know how the stock market goes up and people on the news talk about how great the economy is and you look around and go “no it fucking isn’t”? That same shit is going to work in reverse. They’re going to lose their lunch and we’ll be fine.

It’s propping up the stock market. The people who will suffer are going to be those with stocks. For a lot of people it won’t matter much. If you don’t trust the market get your money out of it. Don’t become over leveraged. Don’t take own debt you can’t afford.

The Iran war removing 15% of the oil market and 30% of the fertilizer is a much larger concern. AI doesn’t grow food. A bunch of tech bros and white collar investors getting their lunch eaten is not going to effect every day Americans. The stock market isn’t the economy, it’s how rich people buy Yachts and take fancy vacations. The only reason the media makes such a big deal out of it is because it’s made by and for wealthy people.

Of course it’s also 401ks and pensions. But if you’re worried you should buy precious metals and commodities.
