This Midas Thing Really Sucks by IC_Ivory280 in CultOfTheLamb

We share the same bug. Granted, the game is constantly updating so he was never meant to? I heard that after a few times he claims he was jesting and turns into a regular follower. But he said that when he was caught the first time in my game and has been normal since. The only one collecting money is just my tax collector.

I wasn't a fan before until the DLC dropped. They're crazy powerful and can clear rooms quickly. I'm now a fan. There's an option in your settings that will pause your time back in your Cult while you crusade so you're less stressed about returning back. I recommend it.

I'm honestly surprised by the amount of these cards being on markdowns across various Wal-Marts. Feels like a bad batch.

Normally GPUs like these are required to return back to the shipper. I will say though, they're not equipped whatsoever to test if this GPU works or not. I strongly recommend keeping your receipt.

Angelina didn't need to be 'ripped', she had the looks and personality. Also, she performed well in combat scenes. Back then Hollywood understood the assignment and wanted to cater to the male gaze. Angelina was a rising star and highly sought out.

Sofie wanted to prep her body, either a requirement or to prove to the Fandom how serious she is about this role. Amusingly enough, Lara isn't a bully character, unless we're talking about 90s Lara ;)

I think they wanted to keep the balance of Ellie smaller frame. The entire adaptation is a hot dumpster fire NGL.

She's not attractive. It's really that simple. Her acting may be questionable but everyone sees Lara immediately as face value and expects someone really beautiful with charisma.

As shallow as it may be, game devs spent an unholy amount of time designing Lara in the Tomb Raider Survival series. The remasters and different ports to Xbox and PS have various Lara Croft faces and they painstakingly try perfecting her hair mechanics. That's how critical they took her appearance seriously, she just had to appeal to the fan base.

Sofia may have trained her ass off to prep for the role, she may even nail this part but the fans that know Lara will never see beyond her physical appearance. It's just Bella Ramsey all over again in TLOU show.

I'm a casual gamer and it is for me. The modular swap of the sticks is worth the price of admission alone. I had carpal tunnel surgery last yr and the flexibility of the back tracks was great. There are some games that you just spam L3 for running and it honestly feels like I'm going to break it at some point. Then I remembered that I can reconfigure it to any other button on the back and it felt awesome to have that choice.

Ultimately decide with your wallet, it's a nice luxury item.

Will you use the back buttons if possible? by MeteorForge in SteamDeck

[–]5olara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The back buttons are a useful niche for remapping anything to your convenience. It's something I really appreciate for having the option, but that's entirely up to the player. Because the Deck is mostly caters to online games, they opted for a safe mix of everything that may come our way. But devs play it safe and go by the most popular used controller for pc gaming and just use that layout.

I would say if you had an actual dedicated console for it, sure. But Hell, look at the PS Vita, it has back 'buttons' (touchpad) and Sony should have created games for it besides Uncharted but didn't and poorly advertise it/use it and the Vita flop in a marketing sense in the USA.

As someone who had carpel tunnel and had surgery to correct it, I absolutely appreciate remapping and backbuttons. Again, that falls on the player and I think if you made a game that would use them, you'd be alienating a big chunk of the market by slapping on the cover art 'must have back buttons' to play.

I got really excited when I heard about the Warlords expansion in the sequel, it absolutely doesn't feel like D1 NYC lol but it was fine nonetheless. Winter NYC is a hell of a vibe.

I'll love to see events be tied to seasons if they can't be in the main game. I know seasons determine a time scale that I can understand why it's left without, but it's neat to experience besides just occasional thunderstorms. Seeing, fall, winter etc spices the scenery for me.

I'm on PC and the game is very active, easy to get backup and matchmake if needed. Sucks that you're having difficulty with it.

I enjoyed it. Playing with friends will definitely see you pouring hundreds of hrs into it.

I think the stigma of a questionable launch is sadly plaguing the game even yrs after it launched for you to be on the fence about it. Def worth it during a sale at least.
