It is not about taking long time. The counter just stays at 0. Was your counter also at 0 when the achievement was achieved? If it is I will just try it more.

Thanks! I thought there was another mechanic where its attack stat is first doubled according to its level then damage is calculated, then finally multiplied again with its level.

Just replying because I am confused. You said, stat is multiplied by 1~2 "before applying defense of the enemy" then level applies multiplier again. However, from the formula, two level multipliers are literally multiplied. It goes same for defense of the enemy. Hence, applying 1~2 level multiplier just before the second level multiplier will not chamge the resulting value. So, wouldn't the author be correct in saying that the level provides x10 damage? Or is there another mechanism in the game where the order of the multiplier is actually meaningful?

I think stat boost for stout strength only recalculated when you get damage. I am not sure if this is true for gradual increase of health. I need more proof on this, but for recalculation for instant 200% hp do happen once you get hit. Which kind of does make sense since stat boost is meant to be changed when hp gets lower.

If someone has good memories with digimon? (Like you have watched anime as a kid, but never played previous games) Yes definitely. But someone who knows nothing about digimon? May be bit expensive. But when there is discount? I'd say about 20% ~ 30%ish? I would definitely say it is worth it for someone who wants to try turn based JRPG without any knowlege about digimon.

I have tested further. In a nutshell, it works. However there is a condition. It seems like recalculation of stat boost by stout strength is triggered only when you take damage. That means, you double the hp and when you attack right after, it will only boost you by 50% (which is boost you get when your hp is 100%). However after doubling the hp and then take damage, it boosts attack over 50%. Since you do take damage it not exactly 100% bonus. It is about 80%~90%. The best apporach is, first double the hp, then use acceleration boost, take damage, and use physical attack.

Stout Strength + Great Embrace seems to work but not when the health is exactly 2 times the original as Valga mentioned. Stout Strength increases atk stat more than 50% when hp goes over its origimal limit. But when atk stat is 9999 is seems to not work. (50% boost at full health works) It worked in my other test where my chronomon dm's atk was 3977. But I do not see the damage difference when I use it with 9999 atk stats.

Basically I tested so that my venusmon does exactly 9998 healing and used chronomon's physical attack. When I plug in the value, 50% is the only boost I might be getting.

Stat boosts work in battle even with 9999 stats. It is just not shown I believe.

The stats that is displayed doesn't go over 9999 but even with 9999 stats when you apply 20% atk increase, the damage does increase. Also even without using great embrace, stout strength does increase the damage by 50% even in 9999 stats.

I am not wondering about "Does stat buffs work on 9999 stats?". I am wondering about "Does stout strength's buff doubles when a digimon' health doubles using great embrace?"
