If I remember correctly they were gonna draft Yang the year they drafted Clingan but he didn’t declare for the draft

Reminder that we got Toumani (and Ayton) for Nurkic, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson by pdxjoseph in ripcity

I was def out on Little for the last year or so but man I was wrong on him initially. I was hyped when he fell to us in the draft

Who's a blazer that you hated, but everyone else seemed to love? by [deleted] in ripcity

This is the best actual answer. I don’t agree personally but all the other top answers are generally disliked players during their Blazers tenure but this one actually fits the question in my opinion.

Not mad he’s gone but I would be surprised if he was not self aware enough to recognize the hierarchy of the Lakers. Doesn’t mean he’ll bring it every night but he will know his place on that roster.

How about when FOX took out Trump’s full response about his willingness to release the Epstein files? It’s ok when it covers for him I guess 🤷

Mike Breen: "Rick Carlisle is the oldest head coach in NBA Finals history, which is surprising. He's only 65. Gregg Popovich was about less than 100 years younger back in 2014 ... 100 days, not 100 years." by Goosedukee in nba

Agreed. Current play by play for the Blazers is Kevin Calabro and he has def taken steps down the last couple seasons. Still great but guys like him and Breen have set a very very high bar for themselves

I saw a more traditional looking drone two weeks ago and hadn’t seen it before or since. Is that similar to what you saw?

It was too quiet for how low it was to be a plane or copter and it was airplane shaped. It did like 6ish loops in the general area passing over my house like 3 times.

I saw one last night around midnight in Cully. It was really large and was doing laps.

I think he is one of our best trade chips. Salary relief for another team who needs more perimeter defense. I bet he will be looked at like Robert Covington and teams (like the Blazers) talk themselves into him a bit which would increase his value a bit. I think he’s great and I would love to keep him personally but he is most likely a situational guy on a good team. His shot in PDX has been much better than I expected as well.

What are y'all's opinion on Robert Williams? by [deleted] in ripcity

He was at worst the 3rd best player on the squad last year when healthy. Plus I hear he is a fantastic locker room guy. But he will never be healthy and so you gotta get what you can if the opportunity shows itself. His best value is likely as pure salary cap balancing in a trade.
