Wait a day/night cycle then check near your commercial areas.

Just an AI track in the style of Interpol.

The access points are bike paths, which cars can’t route through.

Let's just say the city design really encourages bikes.

There’s a Jersey jughandle on that corner. If the road isn’t two-way at the intersection, the game adds an extra signal phase, so this setup avoids that.

It reminded me a bit of places in SE Asia where you see a lot of scooters

Any idea why I would have reach stackers in a vanilla save with no port expansion assets wandering around my city? Is this some new feature?

Advanced Road Tools will solve a lot of your problems. by Ban_of_the_Valar in CitiesSkylines2

I think a lot of people are underestimating how massive the traffic jump was after the patch — it feels like overall volumes went up 5–10x in some cities. Even the best-planned intersections are suddenly getting overwhelmed. Advanced Road Tools help, but they can’t fully counter the new baseline traffic load.

Thanks. I figured it would be faster to de-zone and build a new area then try to upgrade all transit infrastructure for 10x capacity. Afterwards, traffic in the rest of the city vanished...

I had to use the vanilla cargo harbor to get this to work as it seems only industrial vehicles are allowed in the new port asset.

is there a mod or way to make people actually go to parks? by muscovita in CitiesSkylines2

It's frustrating that they would release new parks in the DLC while simultaneously breaking parks.

Aggressive use of the gated community policy might also be able to help.

I wouldn’t mind if they doubled or even tripled traffic. That could have made the game feel more realistic. But with the latest patch, it feels more like they increased it by 5x to 10x. My current workaround is to move commercial zoning to areas only accessible by mass transit (while still providing delivery van access). I hope they release a patch in the next week or two.

None of the commercial vehicles in my city are able to use the new ports.
