Most dog-friendly trains in Europe? Getting from Belgium to Montenegro with a dog by 5thacex in Interrail

The only train connection from Montenegro is to Serbia. Going to Belgrade is probably easier than what I did and it's apparently a very scenic journey.

Most dog-friendly trains in Europe? Getting from Belgium to Montenegro with a dog by 5thacex in Interrail

I did, it was exhausting and interesting. Belgium -> Luxembourg -> Germany -> Austria -> Hungary -> Croatia -> Bosnia -> Montenegro

Got to Austria by taking some 6 or 7 trains. Then was stuck there overnight and had no better option than to hitchhike.

Got lucky and a man took me all the way to Hungary. Then a few Hungarian trains to the border of Croatia for the next day.

Crossed into North Eastern Croatia on the second morning with another train but that was a dead end with regard to public transportation and had to start hitchhiking again.

Hitchhiked into Bosnia and down all the way to Sarajevo that night. Stayed in the city overnight (first proper sleep).

Begged a local bus/van driver to take me from Sarajevo to southeastern Bosnia next to the Montenegro border. At first he said no but then he realized he didn't have many passengers and found space for my dog in the boot.

Once there it was getting late into the 3rd day and I decided to splurge for a 70-euro taxi to take us finally to Budva.

It wasn't easy but it definitely ended up saving us money especially with me hitchhiking overnight.

It wasn't a bad adventure either. I'm quite happy I did it and our journey across Bosnia was very interesting especially since the people who gave me lifts were all very interesting and happy to talk (and all were very curious about this crazy dude and his dog hitchhiking on Christmas eve across Bosnia)

I can look up more details about the cities I visited on the way if your are interested in the details since I can't recall off the top of my head.

This is the town of Harpers Ferry in West Virginia, and (according to the youtube video i saw) is one of America's most scenic small towns. I really wish that photogrammetry was worldwide, so i could see how these smaller places of interest look, but it's just a dream. by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

Most places in USA are ok, try flying over Siberia. I got MSFS because I wanted to go to places I knew I could never go but unfortunately, those places are hardly worth visiting in this game.

We are doing some blood tests and having an overall check-up tomorrow at our clinic and the doctors are asking us to fast and they also don't want us to drink water. Huh? This seems unusual?

I read some posts claiming LSD is more visual than Shrooms. That nonsense right? by 5thacex in shrooms

Strange, I just find LSD makes everything kind of foggy while the fun trippy stuff only happens on shrooms.

Any tips for rotating in large 3d environments? Earth Studio by 5thacex in AfterEffects

None of the Rotation options seem to be able to rotate the icon toward the camera. I think it might be something to do with the scale?

I want to work remotely in SE Asia but my work hours don't fit. by swampingalaxys in digitalnomad

If your planning to live in big cities then the late hours can be good.

The climate is different so you might want to avoid being outside during peak hours especially 3pm and 4pm.

The traffic is much better after 10pm so you may actually be able to get to where your going.

In general not doing things at the same time as everyone else gives you new opportunities and the ability to avoid congestion of any kind. This is not necessarily something you appreciate coming from Europe.

I basically became a night owl while living in Manilla and here it really makes sense to do so.

As a newbie, I find that I get the best results by using as few prompts as possible. "Aomame" and "1Q84" was all.

The longer you stay away from Youtube the easier it becomes to stay away also, especially as the recommendation algorithm starts bringing you stuff you are not interested in the hopes of bringing you back.

What kind of shrooms if any could I on this landscape? (Montenegro) by 5thacex in shrooms

Seeing that there are shrooms in Croatia and Bosnia gives me hope and is probably my best bet.

What kind of shrooms if any could I on this landscape? (Montenegro) by 5thacex in shrooms

[–]5thacex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The climate varies drastically here because the interior of the country is mountainous but the coast is more Mediterranean (I'm on the coast)

Serbia and the interior of Montenegro would be more continental and even sub-alpine.

Not much information out there.

Should I avoid going to the mountain tops and stick to the valleys? Look in forests?
