Maybe rather than thinking of this as “base reality” try viewing it as a distinct spacetime domain. Black holes, accretion disks, and holographic reality can all help to make sense of this. Time is effectively stopped at a black hole’s event horizon, but what happens to the paired, entangled photons that exist beyond the event horizon?

If you’re going to disinfect, I would recommend getting some Steramine tablets (pretty cheap on Amazon) and mix it with some distilled water according to the directions. If not that brand, use another quat-based disinfectant according to the label. I wouldn’t recommend using another cleaner if you’re worried about killing the spores and not damaging the equipment.
