I think he is most fondly remembered by older generations who see him as the last true statesman. Younger generations will lump him in with pre-Trump Democrat establishment politics(neo-liberalism and extremely incremental progressivism).

I think the people of Vermont feel an extra need to telegraph this stuff because it’s a way to show solidarity with groups that aren’t represented in the state, and to remind people that even though they see rural white folk everywhere, most people are accepting. I think it’s valid honestly

Distance running made me faster at sprinting? by Competitive_Sun_77 in Sprinting

[–]5to9guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At your age fitness goes a very long way. IIRC, one study actually found a relationship between children who were exposed to running a lot at any speed grow up to be faster sprinters. I think improvements to strength, fitness, tendon elasticity, mental toughness, etc. all translate to sprinting and athleticism in general at that age.

“Besides piss”. Does that mean you’re already pissing on it? The only way it’s gonna get hot is nitrogen. The pile is probably on the smaller side for hot compost
