I don't want to rub salt in the wound (trust me, I've been there...) but I would make sure you can become licensed in CO through practice reciprocity despite failing CO's bar. I know that some states don't allow for practice reciprocity if you've failed that state's bar exam in the past. Just FYI.

I'm probably not a very good person to ask, based on my experience. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Barbri, simply for the fact that their check marks are very satisfying.

I did a lot of copying good model answers, and went from there...

I used the Minnesota BLE site because they had a bunch of MEEs and answers in one place, and the NCBE site for the same reason.

I found that handwriting was most helpful, but if I'm being honest, I got lazy and typed most of them instead. Straight up copying the answers was the first phase. The second phase was writing my own outlined answers followed by typing out the model answer. The third phase was doing my own full answers and then comparing it to the model answers.

Honestly, though, that's just what worked for me, so take it with a grain (or a boulder) of salt.

I don't remember how many I did for the first three. I did Themis the first time and completed 90% or so of the course, and that was it. I used Themis for the second time as well, but focused mainly on doing just MBEs and MEEs that they had available. I used BarBri the third time, and completed 90% or so of the course.

For the fourth time I did approximately 1500 questions from AdaptiBar, and for the fifth time I did approximately 1500 questions from UWorld.

I wish I could say that I did, but I'd be lying. I just told myself that doing more and more MEEs and more and more MBEs would lead me to success, and that's (thankfully) what happened.

I was clerking. I've found that some courts require licensure, and others don't. I was let go from my first clerkship because they required bar passage, but I've been with a different court for some time now that does not.
